Meeting The Paedetrics

Yesterday, we went to the Hospital at 9.15 am...ecelly appointment kul 9..terlewat sket..after siapkan aqil n aqif..buat susu and everything baru kuar umah..aku kene amik cuti kalo appointment jumpe Paed ni..Abi pun amek leave gak.kitorg kene cuti sbb jumpe Paed agak lame..nearly 1pm biasenye baru selesai..

Just 10 minutes we reached Hospital Sg Buloh..Abi kuarkan stroller untul aqil and aqif...Siap2 masukkan twin dalam stroller n barang keperluan, kitorg terus g Klinik Pakar.Gi registration counter. Dapat nombor 3043, no skg 3009..so kene tunggu 34 org lagi..agak lame gak tu..aku suggest kat Abi for having a breakfast dulu, sbb tak mkn bfast lagi (sori papa, ibu tak sempat buat bfast hehe)..tapi abi tanak..die kate takpe,tak lapar lagi katanya..the waiting area was not too crowded..maybe pagi lagi kot..sambil tunggu tu aku bagi bfast kat aqil aqif..a yummy cheese stick and orange juice..we waited for the numbers to be called..Paid Rm10 (each Rm5) and terus g klinik Paed lak...kat Paed kene register lagi, byk tol..hehe then nurse panggil aqil aqif name to be weighed..now aqil 9.3 kg , aqif 10.9 kg...agak susut..yela dah kuat main and lasak jugak...we waited for 20 min kot, baru dapat jumpe Paed..it was the same Paed as for the last visit.she asked me and abi about perkembangan aqil aqif..sume la die tanye..and aku jawab sejujurnye..ape yg aqil aqif buat for the last 4 months aku btau kat die..and aku mmg dah siap sedia dgn 2 soalan from a week before meets the Paed..soklan2 aku adela seperti berikut :

Untuk Aqil
1) nape aqil tak bole makan telur?yg aku notice mase 1st time aku bagi makan, muke die abis merah, kuar merah2 tu dgn drastik sekali...tapi tak berlarutan..dalam setengah jam die akan hilang..aku bagi ubat gatal..a few min die akan beransur hilang...and sejak dari tu aku dah tak bagi telur..

---Ni jawapan Paed : aqil kene makan telur jugak...tapi try bagi makan telur kuning dahulu..kalo ok, tu takde pape..telur putih yang akan membuatkan naik merah2 or ruam..kalo merah2 tu hilang lepas 2 tu and tak berlarutan, ia dikira tak memudaratkan. sbb umur 1 tahun ade immunisation (MMR - measels, mumps and rubella), injection ni ade estrak telur, so baby akan bermasalah kalo tak biase dgn telur..she said kalo aqil punye merah2 tu hilang lepas2 tu gak, it considered aqil akan bole tahan dgn dos MMR tu..tak jadi masalah dan tak akan memudaratkan...kalo yang sampai masuk hospital tu, itu Dr akan tukar dos MMR kepada yg takde telur..so aku takde la risau sgt...aqil bole amik MMR yang ade telur...

Untuk aqif
1) Aqif kan kene pakai splint kat kaki..sejak lahir lagi dah pakai..its better and better now..Occupatinal Thearpist (OT) pun kate dah byk improvement kat kaki aqif and much2 better now..aku pun dah nampak kaki aqif bertambah elok...splint tu mmg byk berjasa disamping urutan khas yg diajar oleh OT untuk di apply kan pd aqif...soklannye camni...aku sgt concerned la pasal kaki aqif ni kan...camne aku nak confirmkan yg kaki aqif ni dah ok?

---Ni jawapan Paed...Paed pun tgk kaki aqif, and she told aqif nye kaki pun nampak dah elok and aqif mmg bole berdiri dgn elok sekali, cume aqif suke jinjit2 kalo berdiri..die kate tulang tumit aqif tak kuat lagi, tu die jinjit2, sbb aqif bukan bole jalan lagi...kalo dah bole jalan tu tandanye tulang tumit dah kuat and ade sokongan.. so Paed made a referral letter to Orthopedic Clinic..Ortho clinic ni sebelah je dgn Paed..surat refet tu ade mengatakan yg "Parents are concerned and need your second opinion to confirm this scenario" lebih kurang camtu la...nanti aku update lagi isi kandungan referral letter tu..ok after dah abis jumpe Paed, she gave us 4 months until the next visit..and aku amek the surat refer nak g klinik orthopedik ..

then g orthopedic clinic, register and the nurse gave us 31/3/2009 for the appointment with the orthopedics. hopefully, aqil aqif's takde ape2 masalah la within that period...

Overall, aqil aqif is very healthy baby... so..everything ok, eyes,bone,tooth,leg,fingers and neuro assessment pun ok...Ok , now we were looking forward with his Immunisation (MMR) on March 2009.
